The Mercedes 190SL
The 190SL was only produced for nine years during 1954 and 1963. There were exactly 25,881 of these wonderful cars made. The following are some facts about this make of car.
- Unlike most of the cars around this time, the 190 SL included standard power windows and a heater.
- The 190SL was based on the 300SL, including the "eyebrow" wheel arches, a grille ending with the star, and the headlight/blinker arrangment.
- It is a two seater coupe with a unique panoramic rear window.
- This is the most luxurious two-seater of its time.
- It cost 3,998 when new, which converts to $25,489 now-a-days.
- It also came with either a detachable hard or soft top.
