"Why do I fight? I fight because I must!"

Lang,
Zen Mithrill
Borned Jowston Mannacreed Callanos, he was the only child
of the former rulers of Evalos, and was supposed to be the
successor to the throne, if not for the infamous Double
Cross Uprising which resulted in the assasination of his
family.
He was saved by Vahnstryke Lang, the same asassin who killed
his mother during the Uprising. Repentant of what he has
done, Vahnstryke decided to adopt Jowston, and raise him
as his own son. Jowston's name was then changed to Zen,
after Vahnstryke's deceased son.
At an early age, Zen was trained by his foster father in
the arts of war. Vahnstryke believes that he is preparing
the boy so that he may someday regain his rightful place
as the ruler of Evalos.
However, Vahnstryke died when Zen was only 14. Without
anyone to support him, Zen followed his father's footsteps
and became a mercenary, a hired soldier, fighting wars in
order to survive... and he became good at it. Using what
his foster father has taught him, he brought countless victories
and became famous. He was named the "Dragonwolf"
by King Kronos Cross and became a high ranking captain of
the empire's Black Guards of Losgoth.
Zen's achievements brought upon jealousy to some of his
colleagues. Nash Forrester, a soldier under his command,
was one of them. On a routine mission, he stabbed Zen at
the back and pushed him off a cliff.
A travelling family saw Zen's body on the shores of Losgoth
and rescued him. They treated his wounds and brought him
to a medicine woman named Kristeena Cadone in a town called
Alamoren. While staying in this town, he began to see the
empire through the eyes of civilians, and as days passed,
he began to hate the empire. |
