Teri Ann McLean started out playing piano at the
age of ten. But it wasn't until she reached her 20's that she discovered bluegrass
music. After making the best discovery of her lifetime, she quickly picked up the
upright bass.
After some time holding down the low end, she decided she didn't
want to be in the back! That's when she started playing rhythm guitar and singing. She's
been writing songs for about ten years, and has finally decided to record an album that
will include eight originals.
Teri Ann considers herself very blessed to
have some amazing people recording on her first cd, Echoes of Goodbye, including Andy Falco of The Infamous Stringdusters band on guitar, Ashby
Frank of Special Consensus on mandolin, both of Jim
Van Cleve of Mountain Heart on fiddle, Pete
Kelly of formerly of Michael Cleveland and
Flamekeeper on banjo, Pat Falco and Chris Maloy of Miller's Crossing on bass and guitar
respectively, Andy Hall of the Infamous
Stringdusters on dobro, Buddy Merriam on mandolin and Ernie Sykes, Jr.
on bass/harmony vocals, both of Buddy Merriam and
Back Roads, and Jen Larsen of Straight
Drive, Cincy Lopez of Jack's Waterfall
on harmony vocals, as well as Britt Fusco on harmony vocals.
This is sure to be a cd to be on the lookout for!! Expect it out in the Fall of 2007.
