The series starts out introducing most of the main characters: Sana Kurata, child actress featured on a t.v. show called "Child's Toy"; Misako Kurata, "Mama", eccentric AOKI winning writer; Rei Sagami, Sana's 20 year old boyfriend, manager and "pimp" (she doesn't really know what it means); and Akito Hayama, Sana's classmate and nemesis. Akito Hayama, leader of the boys, creates mayhem in her class. He has something over the teachers so that they are unable to stop him. No one will stand up to him. Sana has been trying not to get involved but feels things cannot keep going on this way. She's upset and goes off on him on t.v. This action sets the wheels in motion and Sana finds herself in the role of challenger and leader of the girls. She ends the episode spraying Hayama with one of his own weapons, an ink filled water gun.
