Cool Boarders 2
Problems
Original Board
Auto Load
All of the other "Special Boards" Auto Load. You have to go into Board Edit, and load the Original Board yourself.
Quick Default
You can't select the Original Board by pressing R1 + D-Pad. Quick Default works with all other boards. For the Original Board, you have to select "Board," "Original," and then select it again.
Board Type
The Original Board "type" cannot be changed unless you make a whole new board. Alpine Boards are a different shape, but there is no other reason you could not change the type of board without changing the design. You can't even change from "T1" to "T3". Make sure you Master the game before choosing Board Edit!
Multiple Boards
If you want to make multiple boards, you need a whole different memory card. You can only save one Original Board on each Memory Card... no matter how much information it may be capable of holding.
Ghost Replay
Original Board
If you replay your ghost (which had the Original Board) it will have the right "type" of board, but not your design.
Clothing
If you've changed the style of the character's clothing since you recorded your ghost, this "ghost" does not resemble it's "past life" in many ways.
Jumps and the Jump Button
Button - Button
In many instances you don't need to press the jump button in order to make a jump. In other instances you have to press the button. On rare occassions you can make a jump if you don't press the jump button, but will not make the same jump if you press the button. This just does not make sense.
Free Style
Tour Competition
Snow Ruins Defect
I hit the "ShortCut" wrong, and wound up with my character between a rock and a pillar... actually more inside the rock. The character kept falling down, and I could do nothing unless I hit "Start." In this instance, I reluctantly hit "Retire" and the game resumed.
A Spot of Rainbow
While in Tour competition, I let the game sit for a little bit before going down a hill. Once I resumed play, there was a discoloration towards the right side of the screen. It looked a lot like what happens to a TV after being exposed to a magnet. Fortunately, the rainbow dissipates after playing for a spell. Unfortunately, this is repeatable.
Ranking & Saved Game
If you're a person who doesn't know what your saved game is saved as, you're going to have to do two Big Air jumps and one Course before you know what "place" you came in on previous Courses. It does let you know how many total points you have before you begin the Big Air, but the programmers could've let you know how you ranked on previous Courses since the "Option" selection space is vacant... or they could've done the "Rank Arrow" on the "Course" selection, like they did for "Free Style."
DJ's Voice
"The race is half thru..." is one of the things the DJ says at the top of the hill, before your character starts down. When you rank "first," it sounds aweful weird. Perhaps the DJ means the "Competition" is half over?
"No time left..." is another DJ jive that could sound funny, depending on your ranking. What the DJ says should depend on your rank in some instances, not what course you're on.
