Battle Arena

When you get half of your hit points taken away a couple times and hit a "Lucky Seven," it doesn't do a thing for your character. A Lucky Seven says, "no handicaps." Perhaps this is another misspelling... it should say "no handicap" if all it means is that you didn't hit something bad...

Misspellings


When you have a game this large, there are bound to be misspellings. I was dissapointed at how many I found. The one that stands out the most, in my mind, is the one in the Gold Saucer Battle Arena. Before you have the "Slot Machine" spinning, it asks if you would like to "Keep goin'?" Your choices are "Off Course!" and "No, way!"

When you first arrive in Kalm Town and tell your party members about Sepiroth, there is a man who says, "He goes walks east."

Memory Card

Load Game Defect
I went to load a game from my memory card, and three of my saved games were unreadable. One of the games actually said I was on level "0" and it had a black background to it. I never used a black background. The other saved games were not actually forming letters or numbers. Two of the games were readable, oddly enough. So, it appears as though the memory card can be read, but the game cannot determine if your card is full before saving.
