Ok, see if you can follow me on this one. Boy from contry moves to Tokyo. Ok nothing new. Boy wants humaniod robot called a persocom...nothing new there. Boy can't afford robot girl. Ok now that is overly played out.

Boy finds robot girl in dumpster...ok lil odd. Robot has no memory or data and can only say 'Chi' NOW that is funny.

Follow Hibiki and Chi as they try to find out if she is a true Ai. What do other people want with Chi. And WHY JAPANESE HAVE TO MAKE FEMALE ROBOTS!!

Ok after you get passed the fanservice (which is fairly light) and peal back the layers of overhead plot you see a real gem of a story. Lot of implyed depth on wether humans rely to much on there creations
Plot:
Art/Music
Art style is Clamp stardard, not bad but not the best. The music again is standard. The opening is kinda annoying but the ending is fairly nice.
Alot of flat characters. But alot of them. Teachers/land ladies/ co-workers. Hidiki works with alot of women... And lets not forget the plastic women known as persocoms...Don't ask. It's not worth it.
Characters
Nice amount of implied fanservice. Hidiki has alot of fantasies. Some fairly indepth emotional concepts. So PG 13 seems to fit.
Rated:
I really liked this one. I didn't like it for the art style or fanservice. I liked it for the idea it had. Do we put to much importance on our creations. Hidiki often asks "why were the persocon's made to be human?" I found that really insiteful for an anime. Maybe I'm just looking to deeply into it, but either way I liked it.
Overall:
