Ruined Part 4
It was New Years Eve and Cameron had her television turned to one of
the many live count-down shows from New York City as she got ready to
go to the party being held at the hospital. She had just stepped out
of the shower and Lily had quickly made her way to the bathroom,
jumping into the tub to play in the leftover water.
She and House had decided not to arrive at the hospital together as
Wilson was still the only one to know about their relationship.
Cameron had been surprised that House was even planning on going to
the party.
She curled her hair and put on some makeup, then decided on her
low-cut black dress and a long necklace to accentuate the bare space
between her breasts. Her goal was to tease House all night, knowing he
wouldn't be able to touch her as long as there were other people
around.
Lily ran playfully back into Cameron's bedroom, her paws - and
somehow - the back of her head dripping wet. Cameron reached down and
scratched the kitten's head, giving her a little kitty Mohawk.
"Be good, kitty." She said as she pulled on her coat, grabbed her
purse and headed out for what she knew would be an interesting night.

House was dying. At least he felt like he was. That mistake of a
Christmas present he bought for Cameron had left hair all over his
apartment and now he was paying the price. His eyes were itching and
his nose was running.
"Shut up." He told an amused Wilson, who was standing beside him at
the refreshments table.
The hospital's cafeteria had been emptied of most of its tables, a
stereo had been brought in to play holiday music, and of course
streamers and other decorations had been hung from the ceiling. A few
long tables along the back wall had been covered in punch, sodas and
snacks.
"I'm just... stunned." Wilson said, holding back his laughter. "You in
a pet store? Picking out a kitten?" He began to laugh. "I wish I had
been there." Then he started to mock House. "'Would you like to hold
her, sir?'" he asked, pretending to hold out a kitten. "'No, just
throw it in the box and it'll be fine.'" He continued to laugh.
"Are you done?" House asked through a stuffy nose.
"For now." Wilson smiled as he calmed himself down.
"Good, I'm getting sick of your voice." House grumbled, sipping from
his cup of punch.
They were both silent for a couple minutes as they watched their
coworkers party around them. House pulled a tissue out of his pocket
and blew his nose for, what it seemed like, the hundredth time that
day. He would never admit that the only reason he'd agreed to come to
this party was to see Cameron, though he was sure Cuddy was curious
as to why he was there. He let his head fall back for a moment and
moaned in agony.
"You're such a baby." Wilson rolled his eyes. "How does Cameron put
up with you?"
"Oh, she
loves the baby act." House replied dryly. "And if I don't
behave, I get
spanked."
"Too much information." Wilson held up a hand. "Speak of the devil."
He nodded towards the doorway to the cafeteria as he turned to grab a
soda from the table.
House looked to the doorway to see Cameron walking in, wearing one of
her little black dresses.
She caught his eye immediately but didn't come to see him. He knew
that would've looked strange to their coworkers. Instead, she went to
say hello to Foreman and Chase. He watched her cross the room, and he
could tell by the way she walked that she knew he was watching her.
"You could be a little less obvious." Wilson spoke up. "You look like
a stalker or something."
House gave him an annoyed glance.
"You know, I'm actually
trying to keep your secret. You're not making
it any easier."
"Hello boys." Cuddy came to them with a warm smile. "Glad to see you
both here." She looked pointedly at House. "And the rest of your
department made it, too."
"We'd noticed." Wilson cracked, also glancing at House.
"I'm gonna go sit down." House grumbled, breaking away from the two
of them. Going to the other side of the room, he passed by Cameron as
she talked to Foreman and Chase.
As he passed, Cameron gave a smile. "House." She said in greeting.
He didn't reply but gave a small nod and kept on walking.
"What's wrong with
him?" Chase asked once House was out of earshot.
"It's House. What more do you need to know?" Foreman rolled his eyes.
Cameron shrugged innocently. "I think he's been nicer lately."
"Because, in your eyes, he can do no wrong." Foreman mocked.
Chase gave a quiet laugh.
It was Cameron's turn to roll her eyes. She wondered briefly what
they both would think if they knew she'd been seeing House for a
while. She and House had done a good job of hiding their relationship
so far, but how long could they keep it up? For a moment, she didn't
care if everyone knew about them. On the other hand, if they did
know, they would draw too much attention if they were seen together.
And she would - most likely - receive daily lectures from Foreman on
why dating House was "bad idea #1." That, she could do without.
She looked over to where House was sitting.
"I wonder why he came. He obviously doesn't want to be here." Chase
said from beside her.
"Cuddy probably threatened him with more clinic hours." Foreman
guessed.
Cameron ignored them. "I'm gonna go say hi." She walked away, heading
in House's direction.
"Yeah, 'cause that worked really well a minute ago." Foreman called
after her.
House tried not to smile as she approached him, but he had to admit
it was hard. "Dr. Cameron," he nodded as she stopped to stand in
front of him.
"Dr. House," she smiled and glanced around to see how many people
were in earshot of them. "Having a good time?"
"Not really." He said, and then lowered his voice. "I'm expecting the
fun part will be later."
She just smiled. "I'm gonna get a drink, did you want anything?"
"No, actually I was going to head up to my office for a few minutes."
He stood slowly, putting most of his weight on his cane. He gave her
a look, and then left the cafeteria.
Cameron laughed to herself and went to the refreshments table for a
drink. She had to wait a few minutes before she followed him. She
greeted Wilson, who was still standing in the same spot as before, as
she poured herself a cup of punch.
"Hey. Have you seen House around?"
"Yeah. He said he'd be right back."
"Oh, god. I hope he doesn't come back in as a drunken Santa." Wilson
looked around worriedly.
Cameron laughed. "Don't worry. He just went to his office."
"Oh," he sighed. "I was worried I'd have to warn Cuddy."
"I'm sure it wouldn't have been
that bad."
He gave her a 'you'd be surprised' look.
She smiled and shook her head. "I'll be back." She made her way to
the door, trying to look as if she was just leaving to use the
ladies' room. She turned in the direction of the bathrooms, but
looped around and found the elevator.
When she got to the Diagnostics department, she steered clear of the
nurse's station. She found House's office with the blinds drawn on
all the glass walls. She pushed the door open quietly and walked in.
House was sitting in his easy chair in the front corner of his
office.
"Ahh, the office again?" She teased, kicking off her heels.
"Everyone's down at the party." He smiled hungrily up at her. "And I
did remember to shut the blinds this time."
"Sounds like you've thought of everything." Cameron's voice lowered
to sound more seductive.
She crawled onto his lap, making sure not to hit his pained leg.
"I like this dress." He tugged at the deep front-v of her dress as
she settled onto him.
"I knew you would." She leaned up so that her chest was inches from
his face. "I think there's something else you'll like."
He raised an eyebrow at her and ran his hands up her legs, up under
her skirt. He smiled and there was a sound from deep in his throat
when his hands found her bare ass.
Just the feel of his rough hands on her made her want to lose it. She
put both her hands on the sides of his head, her fingers gripping
into his hair, and leaned down to kiss him aggressively. He held her
on him, his hands now on her lower back, still underneath her dress.
As she deepened the kiss, she reached down and began to tug at his
jeans.
His hands came out from under her dress and stopped hers on his fly.
"Here, get up."
With a small pout, she stood up and watched him stand. He backed her
up against the wall, a framed poster almost falling to the floor. He
put a hand in her hair and continued their kiss he had just stopped a
moment before. He could feel her shaking slightly against his body in
anticipation. As she undid his shirt, he undid his pants and pushed
them to the floor, along with his boxers.
"I love when you wear skirts." He commented as he pulled the bottom
of her dress up and positioned himself the best he could between her
legs.
She let out a lazy laugh and hooked one leg around his hips. Her head
fell back as he pushed up into her, and one of her hands went out to
the side, trying to grip onto the wall. She felt his arm next to her
head, his hand pressed against the wall, as his other arm stayed
hooked around her waist.
House thrust into her aggressively as he watched every look of
ecstasy that came across her face. He pulled his hand from the wall
long enough to bring her arms over his shoulders. He loved having so
much control over her, knowing that all he had to do was say or do
just the right thing to throw her over the edge. She was breathing
loudly in his ear and he smiled to himself when she told him not to
stop.
Cameron was momentarily surprised when he put his hands under her and
lifted her from the floor, getting a better position. She knew she
was moaning like a mad woman, but she didn't care.
"Oh, that's a good girl." House growled into the side of her neck. A
squeak came from her and he knew he had done it. He could already
feel her tightening around him.
Her legs suddenly became tighter around his waist and he thrust a few
more times to bring himself over the edge with her. His body
stiffened as he came into her and he leaned his forehead to the wall
over her shoulder as he let her down slowly. After he pulled away
from her, he backed up a few steps and let himself sink back into his
easy chair.
Cameron sighed happily, pushing her hair away from her forehead. She
wanted to crawl back onto his lap, but she knew he was in too much
pain for that. As if on cue, he pointed to across the room. Fixing
her dress along the way, she went to his desk, grabbed his bottle of
vicodin and brought it to him. She sat on the foot rest in front of
his chair.
He dry swallowed a couple pills and closed his eyes for a second.
When the vicodin finally kicked in a few minutes later, he pulled his
pants up around his hips. He found Cameron waiting patiently for him.
"Do you want to get back to the party?"
She looked across the room to the clock on his desk: 12:04. "Nah,
lets get out of here."
"Bed sounds good." He pulled himself out of the chair and grabbed his
cane.
"Bed sounds very good." Cameron smiled over her shoulder at him as
she led the way out of his office.
House caught the look in her eye. "It's always more with you."
"If you're tired, I could just head home." She teased as they reached
the elevator. She pushed the button and turned towards him.
"Who said anything about being tired?" He asked defensively as the
doors opened with a ding.
"I have no problem fucking all night." One eyebrow shot up, almost in
a challenging way.
He gave a short laugh. "I
know."
They turned to the elevator and they both immediately shut up as
they came face to face with Chase.
