Talbot's Moto Page

Here is a page for my Dad, who has been on two wheels his whole life.

1948 Vincent Rapide Series B. 30 years in the making, and here it is! Ready to roar!

Summer 2003

I still can't believe my Dad hasn't put this in the living room yet, I would! But for the sake of domestic tranquility it stays in the garage. As with any bike of this type the "project" is never done. There are still several bugs to sort on this machine, and of course there is the Velocette KSS 350 that needs attention...

After a trip last year visiting me in California, my Dad went home and bought himself a quick little Italian number. This is a 1997 900ssSP. It isn't the first Ducati he's had, but it is certainly the fastest! When he's not figuring out how this thing works, he's busy working on his other project bikes.

Dad on 1974 Moto Guzzi V7 Sport: What a cool bike! That is my Honda 400 on the left. This is on a ferry ride on our way to Montreal, Canada in 1990. I was hell-bent on taking a trip for spring break, so my Dad and I headed to the COLD cold cold North country. What were we thinking?

Here my Dad is playing "mechanic" for me at the race track. If I remember correctly he's putting on a new footpeg for me. Sears Point raceway.
