Service 79 error:  Fix for it is a firmware upgrade. Reduced the occurrences of memory low errors, can't send and receive errors and some "79 Service Errors" or "Fatal System Errors" which resulted when the fax file system became corrupt.

Note that these particular multi do not work well with windows xp, it is advised not to install drivers from hp and let xp choose it's own basic drivers for this unit. Only other fix is to revert to previous Operating System. for example WIN XP > WIN ME
