apples, apricots, avocados, bananas, lemons, cantoloupes, grapefruits
and persimmons
- Starchy foods such as corn, hominy, noodles, pasta, white rice and
yams in moderation
- Low-fat cottage cheese, fish, grains, kefir, raw cheese, raw nuts,
seeds, skinless white turkey or white chicken chest and low fat yogurt
for protein
- Rotation diet
- Combine fibre with a protein food such as bran or rice crackers with
raw cheese of almond butter during a low blood sugar reaction
- Take fibre half an hour before meals, Fibre alone (found in oat bran,
rice bran, crackers, psyllium husks) will slow down a hypogycemic reaction
- Eat 6 to 8 small meals throughout the day
