Soror Naomi Sewell Richardson

Naomi Sewell Richardson was the last surviving Founder when she died in 1993 in Washingtonville, N.Y. She was the first Black graduate of Washingtonville High School. After graduation from Howard University, she taught in East St. Louis, IL, Princeton, NJ and New York City. In 1920 she married Clarence W. Richardson, a Howard University graduate and member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.
