highlight below to find out what
. the anime kicked off with the Ikedaya Jiken....
you know the part where Testsu screamed "Okita saaaaaan!!!!"
anyway... Okita and Yoshida will beat the hell out of each other...
then Yoshida had some advantage during one of Okita's cough attack
(if you notice....he was coughing up blood before Tetsu screamed),
and Okita went down. then Tetsu came and fought a bit with an injured Yoshida.
but in the end... after Tetsu had made up his mind not to kill anyone
(even Yoshida who killed his parents)... Okita cut off Yoshida's head.
. after that... a worried Hijikata came to the injured Okita and there was some
really sweet moments. really sweeeeeet!! hihihi! and it was revealed to Tetsu that Okita started off
as Hijikata's page, just like Tetsu.
. in Peace Maker Kurogane manga(taking place after the Ikedaya jiken)...
Yamanami will escape the Shinsengumi. which will lead to the punishment of "seppuku"
(disemboweling your stomach. ouch!!). and he was brought back by Okita.... but still had to be punished.
and during this judgement time... Yamanami pulled out his sword towards Hijikata... and Okita
reflexed quickly by drawing out his sword into Yamanami(one has to be quick to protect one's beloved).
but then it was revealed that Yamanami only had a "takemitsu"(bamboo sword) with him(Yamanami had trouble handling a real sword).
since Yamanami was suffering in pain... it was Okita that cut off Yamanami's head.
poor Okita... it was hard for him. he was close to Yamanami
. also in the manga.... Okita will be diagnosed with Tuberculosis. (remember the blood cough?)
Okita knew it all along... he even knew that's he's dying... but he remains the same. cute!!
