in this case, R.O.D stands for Read or Dream. R.O.D The TV tells the story of 3sisters,
Michelle, Maggy and Anita, who owns the "3sisters Detective Co." in Hong Kong.
the three of them have special abilities.... they are "kami tsukai" or "paper users".
a "paper user" has the ability to manipulate papers and turn them into
useful-and-handy-but-totally-cool-stuff. (examples will be given later at the character page)
it started off with them being the bodyguards to a female Japanese novelist
while she was in Hong Kong on a trip to promote her work. the novelist is Nenene.
and so begin their adventures(really?? are those things called adventures?)
and also their friendship with Nenene.
following some events while protecting Nenene in Hong Kong, the 3sisters somehow ended up in
Tokyo. they stayed at Nenene's house as freeloaders.... at the same time being her bodyguard.
and to earn more money... they also accepted jobs from a company named "Dokusensha".
the jobs involved retrieving some very special, mysterious books for Dokusensha.
I read somewhere that this series has a total of 26episodes.
the earlier episodes... mostly gave us background on the 4girls, but at the same time
it also gives us some clues to the bigger plot of the series. then... around episode 10 or so...
things really started to heat up. the episodes even ended with cliffhangers...
which really got me hooked into waiting for the nest episode.
seems like R.O.D The TV is related to R.O.D. well... I think so anyway.
p/s: they started showing this on WOWOW channel if I'm not mistaken.
and the ones shown on FujiTV comes out later. so... FujiTV is kinda late 6 episodes or sumething.
I download this anime to get the latest episodes from WOWOW.

definitely the opposite to PMK..... this is an anime has a majority of female characters.
but.... the girls are likable. each has a very different personality from the other.
I especially like Anita-chan and Nenene.
as for the story.... this one has a big story going on behind each episode.
I mean... each episode seems to be related to the "big plot".. which I don't know yet.
hahahah! sorry... my brain has a low level function.
other than interesting characters.... this anime also has really cool action sequence.
the action moves are very often graceful(cos they're done but the girls), but still energetic.
Also has some sort of a "James Bond" feel to the actions....
accompanied by a Bond-sounding soundtrack. cool stuff!!
and you just gotta love the way the girls handle those papers. sheeeeshhh!!! totally awesome!!!
it made me wanna be a "paper user"
as for boy characters... I like Junior. you know... the pale sickly looking boy, with long grey hair.
maybe he's got albino or sumething.... but I still like him.
I like his voice actor's voice... so somehow... I like him along the way.
