Well, I've learned many things since the last record here. I can almost sit up on my own, can sit unassisted (well, frankly, at times I fall down, but does it count?), I'm reaching out for things I need and grabbing them, I'm drinking from a cup now and eating from a spoon and I'm reaching out for mommy when I need her! I've tried cereal and really enjoy it, as well as appricot and apple puree. As for carrots, I prefer to leave them for dad to finish. |

Hey, I'm crawling now! Within the last two weeks I've learned rolling over both sides, sitting, standing (OK, with help) and crawling! It gives me the whole new prospective of the world, mom & dad can't leave me alone anymore! Boy, am I happy! |

These days I'm fascinated the most by the remote controls (ah, those applealing buttons!), telephone (it's antenna is so great to chew on), grandma's glasses and everybody else's cups. Of course, the tastiest thing in a cup is its handle.
Since I learned to fall down on my bum rather than on the back (ouch!), I've got so much more confident in standing and even walking while holding onto couch, my chair or my exersaucer. I tell you, walking is not such a big deal! However, my main way of moving around now is still crawling. Mom was so surprised one day when saw me in the kitchen! Unfortunately she was fast to remove the Louis' plate and I didn't have a chance to try those funny looking cookies that he's getting to eat.
I'm talking a lot these days too. Thank God they understand me now! Though, I guess, it's easier for me to learn their language as they're still too slow in learning mine. As it has got warmer (they say the spring has come) there's a hope I will be out of stroller soon and playing with other kids in the park. That black soil they're digging in looks way too attractive! Also, may be soon I won't have to wear that stupid hat.
My shcedule has changed again, I like to raise with the sun now. I wonder why parents don't like this time of the day as much as I do? It always takes me a good half-hour to make them awake! Dad puts me back in my crib and turns on my aqarium. So there I have to stand for another 20 minutes singing songs and waiting until he finally is out of bed and takes me to play. Mom is hopeless at all, she's not up until an hour later.
What am I eating now? Well, all kinds of fruits and veggies (fruits I like and veggies tolerate depending on what's in menu), cereals (not bad) and formula (good at night but I oftern refuse to have it during the day). At times I'm getting an apple to chew, it feels gorgeous, but they're looking so carefully at me that it makes me uncomfortable. LIke I can't eat! Ah, I've got new tableware - in addition to my own silver spoon and yellow funky cup they've got me a cool chewable spoon and a strange plate that sticks to the table and doesn't let me grab it. |
