This sniffer project intends to demonstrate how powerful pcap is and how easy it is to code up some basic sniffer without beeing an pure eleet. Only some experience in raw protocol and some network programming is enough to make something acceptable. The current version is just a bit raw, without doc, man or event README, INSTALL, ect... Next version would be more complete and more documented. Just enjoy the code and the results on your shell. Plus you will notice, i dumped packets without using the bpf filter and without pcap's function...i was too tripped after my pcap capture, so i started dumping and dumping without checking pcap man's any further :). So the point of opinting pcap's power was lost after the packet capture on the ether. Cyrano had the biggest nose and he still has.
