Modern Talking
To most of you Modern Talking do not have to be introduced . for those of you who don't know who
they are , they are the most successful German music group in History .
Modren Talking members are Dieter Bohlen & Thomas Anders .
Their hi -energy / dance music spiced with some wonderful pop
balleds has proven to be successful by world wide sales of their
albums and singles in excess of 75 million units .
Modern Talking originally founded in 1984 and they did split up
at the end of 1987 .
After a successful solo career of Dieter Bohlen as Blue System and
a less successful but nevertheless musically valuable attempt of Thomas Anders to do the same, they
come back as a duo in 1998 .
They are "Back For Good"(as their comeback album is titled) and here to stay .
In 1999 they released the new album "Alone"and It Was The
8th Album Of Modern Talking .
All the songs are incredible well done with the awesome Modern Talking quality we all know and love.
The album contains completely new songs, both slow and upbeat
songs.the upbeat songs have the new heavier techno sounding beat
which is very nice.
The songs have the same dreamy romantic sound as the previous
older albums except with a heavier beat and sort of with a"Blue
System"attitude. Actually I have to admit that everytime I listen to
this album since I got it, it always gives me goosebumps, which is
something I have to say that never usually happens to me when
listening to any other group.
In the year 2000 Modern Talking have really outdone themselves this time round with the knowlege &
wisdom that Dieter Bohlen has behind his belt,
he has put together a collection of 19 absolutely Brilliant,
amazing songs and together with the smooth, melt like ice-cream vocals of singer, Thomas Anders
they have yet another megaHit album, with a possibilty of at least 11 Singles !
After the last album, "Alone" - I was unsure if Dieter could ever again make a record, in the same
standards as the 1'st , 3'rd Or 4'th
albums. I am so happy to anounce that I was wrong,because
" Year Of The Dragon " has to be the best Modern Talking
album they have ever released .
Every fan should not be without this album in his collection.
if this album does not attract new listeners ,
then nothing will.
The only problem with producing such a "perfect album" is - that
next time round, it will be vitually
impossible to beat. because there is not one poor track this time round.
America is the name of the latest CD of Modern Talking .
The title of the brandnew Modern Talking single is " Win The Race"
Thomas Anders comment to the new single is "Super!".
Both Thomas and Dieter are fans of America, thatīs why the album got itīs
name.One of the songs of the album will be named "America" and will
express Dieter & Thomas feelings about the USA.
The second single from "America" will probably be "Last Exit To Brooklyn".
