Research

Research is a careful critical inquiry or examination in seeking facts or principles diligent investigation in order to ascertain something. Or Research is sufficiently objective and systematic to make possible classification, generalization and verification of the data observed. -Lundburg.

My Research interest

High Pressure Rheology of Lubricants, Rolling Contact Fatigue, Rail-wheel contact, Interfacial Phenomena of Lubricating Oils, Boundary friction/Lubrication, Tribology of coated surfaces, EHL Traction etc.

Other important research topics

1. Study on Tribological Evaluation and Application of Plating Films produced with Supercritical Fluid (超臨界流体プレーティング法により創成した被覆部材のトライボロジー特性評価とその応用 ) [Brief details]

2. A Study on the Coefficient of Friction between Wheel Flange and Rail
