         Main interests are Tribology of machine elements and Surface characterization of coatings.

·   Lubricant rheology at high pressure , rolling contact fatigue

·   Boundary lubrication, friction and wear

·   Tribology at rail-wheel contact mechanics

·   Test and tribological evaluation of composite coating films and its application in fuel cell etc.

·   Modeling of coating films properties and deformation behavior

·   Surface analysis by SEM (Philips XL30FEG, Hitachi S-3600), EDAX, XRD (Rigaku CuKa), TEM (H-7000) etc.

 Ph. D. Thesis title: ‘Effects of High Pressure Rheology and Interfacial Phenomena of Lubricating Oils on Life of Ball Bearings’.

 Achievements
