Andy Chan a.k.a. zimmeau
I started watching sports when I was 5 -- 1988 Seoul Olympics. Didn't
start playing sports until 8. Started playing basketball and tennis at
the same year. These two sports are also the sports that I mostly play
up to now. Represented my high school to play tennis in one year, with a
career record of 1-2. (Greatest sport achievement) I am not any good at
playing any sports, but still love sports. Started to seriously follow
sports closely in 1996. My sports at that time were NBA and English
Premier League. I was born and raised in Macau, those two sports are
what everybody watches. Come to the United States for college. Started
to watch football and fell in love with it, and name it "the sport with
the best design". Began to follow NFL and college football. In my third
year, even started following baseball, a sport once I dubbed "the most
boring sport". Actually baseball is a sport I can't enjoy if I don't
know the players and the background history. To get involve with sports,
there are two ways for normal people: play and watch. For me, I found a
third way to enjoy it: officiating. I officiated intramural volleyball,
basketball, soccer (linesman), and softball. Officiating sporting games
is the best job I will ever have, even though I have yet to work full
time. |
