Whistler Mountain, British Columbia

This beautiful sky area is just 2 hours drive from Vancouver. The drive from the Airport leads through a great scenery into the Canadian rocky's. Wistler Village is kind of a artificial village, however done in a very nice layout.

The base station is at the foot of the 2 mountains, the  Whistler and the Blackcomb. The slope called 7th heaven is on the top right.

The slopes are fantastic. Moggles all over the place. A 5 minute hike is neccesary to reach the glacier that leads you down the backside of the Whistler Mountain (both pictures above ).

We were there as a group of 10 and had a great time. I think we were fairly lucky with the weather. Since the ocean is so close the weather is mild and you can expect a lot of snow, but also some rain.
