Arundina

Arundina graminifolia

Thes genus, Arundina consists of only one highly varied species, Arundina graminifolia. 

Distributed from India and Southern China  to Sulawesi, and occurs throughout South East Asia.

Varieties from the lowland of Malaysia and Indonesia have larger flowers with purple petals. Whereas variety from the Himalayans to Thailand have smaller flower with white petals.
