The office is located in the Rogers Cantel Tower in Metrotown. Up on the 25th and 26th floors, the view is amazing. Cold winter mornings are brightened by a terrific view of the sunrise. In fact, I was seriously distracted during my interview. I couldn't think of how to answer the question because there was too much to behold. The only downside is that during the earthquake earlier this year, the building really swayed -- sideways AND vertically! (I was at UBC.)
Oh yes, and fire drills are a pain. It's not overly tiring walking down 25 flights of stairs. It just takes a really long time. And afterwards, the elevators are jammed. If things progress like the way they did last year, we should be getting one this month. |
