| April 25 | I picked up my violin for the first time in ten days! Usually when I don't play for a while, my arms are really tired and I sound awful. This evening, when I tried playing the Tchaikovsky violin concerto, the strangest thing happened: My left hand fingers were stiff, but they were not hurt by the metal strings. It was the skin on my RIGHT(!) hand index finger that was hurting from pressing on the bow! So I stopped. |
