Scrambled!

  1. First, crack open the textbook.
  2. Try comparing the class notes with the textbook.
  3. Flip through the pages of the textbook thoroughly, leaving no page unturned.
  4. Continue until the pages look they they've changed colour from white to a translucent haze.
  5. There! Your brain should be scrambled.

Hard-Boiled!
  1. Just take the textbook. Don't need the notes.
  2. Lock yourself in a room.
  3. Immerse yourself in the reading of the textbook -- read all examples, derivations, and proofs.
  4. Then simply watch the seconds tick by on the clock.
  5. After four hours, your head should feel pretty cooked and spinnable.

Poached Egg!
  1. Find something you don't understand.
  2. Read all the examples and exercises in the textbook that relate to that topic.
  3. Part of your brain should begin to swell and feel alternately light and heavy.
  4. When the headache feels firm enough and doesn't seem to melt away, it's probably time to stop.

Sunny Side Up!
  1. Think positive.
  2. Look at the pretty flowers outside.
  3. Do a few past final exams.
  4. Assume you got the right answers.
  5. Smile and enjoy the fresh air.

Personal Favourite!
  1. First immerse in class notes. (I don't like reading textbooks.)
  2. Add water every 1.5-2 hours to prevent boiling.
  3. Refrigerate brain (sleep).
  4. Sunny Side Up!
