Good-bye or Hello

She goes away to a foreign land
The only thing that makes us close
Is her being near an airport
How simple, how easy the wind blows
One day she's dancing with another man
And the wave of confusion envelops the sand
Of the love that was focused, now aborts
Or at least it seems out of sorts

I could, I would try to allay
This confusion, this tempest in her soul
It's hard to be, when you can't stay
It's hard to go, where you don't know
Where is she, why does she run
From what's here, I'm stunned

I think someone once said
Love is like a rose and its thorns
This must be why I'm bleeding
From picking up the rose
Yet the love still grows
You don't have to let me go

I hear your tears
As they fall in my hands
Making a sound of the cheer
This love can be grand
I wish to bring it to your eyes
Do you hear my cries
Never say good bye
Before you've said hello
