I've lived on this wire...
and my mind does tire
I've typed a million words
and most have not heard
I've talked on the phone...
its dry as a bone.
I asked...no pleaded to be
with all of you....
the moon...just moves
across the dark sky..
chasing the sunrise...
it may never see it...
it may never be with it..
I'm sure glad I am not the moon.
I know..it will be soon
that I will see...the sun
as it comes up..I will not run
my eyes will..stare....

have you ever seen...the clouds stay
have you ever seen..the leaves fall
have you seen..how
the birds fly ...away
have you seen hearts..crumble
have you seen...another stumble
have you seen...my dog cry
have you seen...my eyes dry
my body...weakens..
my soul becons....
to be held....
All the love you've been giving
Is now what you are living
What you've been bringing
Is now what we are singing

The moisture of the dew

the clouds as they drift

from your warmth and your smile
the blue and white reflection
I see it in your eyes, and glisten
such a twinkle I do see

like the sun's ray's,
warming after a cool day,
