The Spring Of My Day
I hear a phone ringing...
At most any time of the day
I know its my baby
And she will be saying
With that voice, in her own way
How much she loves me
Does she know that I see
A man and his child remain
His beloved is gone
Along with his other son
She took on the burden, so strong
Of the tears that haven't shown
From their eyes, they stowed
How can anyone think of faulting
Such a wonderful woman and caring
Selfless, she forgets about love
I believe, I remind her
Even if she's light years
Even though I have these tears
I long to see her smile at me
I feel it through the wires
Please come be with me

I still hear that voice of hers
The sound of it is like a waterfall
So peacefull, drowning out my troubles
Yet capturing my heart and my soul
You should hear her laughter
It grabs my attention with such rapture
The joy and happiness that she deserves

Some of these feelings are in reserve
For that day ...that day
I will see those eyes
The ones that drift me to the skys
The clouds of soft white
The shining of her is so bright
Blinding me from everything
Oh...my love...this you are
Why do you have to be so far
Away...away
On this day...
