A Wish

If there ever was a wish
That I could wish
No, a wish that I would wish
It would be for you
When you wake up in the morning
That you feel as I do
I feel as if I have everything
Especially when I think of you
Especially when I am with you

There is nothing in the past
As quickly as it does pass
That I will ever regret
Especially now since we have met
I once thought of the impossible
With you, all I think of is possible

One could run and cower
You're such a sweet flower
One could hold and possess
Yet, not to you, you are the best
I give to you what you have yearned
I am to you the hearts desire
In your souls attempt to enquire
Of all that it may be
Of you I wish to see
