"In the hills of mystery, in the foggy web of destiny, you can have what's left of me." < by Bob Dylan > ...
08. Press Article: Mirage in the Dawn
"Mirage In The Dawn" tells the desire to find one's roots, in the form of a stage performance. It mirrors the society we live in today where all family ties, individuality and selflessness have disappeared, leaving behind a strain of conformity and lifelessness.
"Mirage In The Dawn" is an original composition performed in two intercepting parts.
Part I: The original self has gathered to him all the knowledge and technology - the means by which he intends to create for himself a replicated self. The clone is of himself, and he plans to release it into the world, where it is programmed to conform to the daily routines of society.
Part II: In the midst of his routines, the replicated self finds himself faced with an immense task. He is to defy his creator in pursuit of his true self, his roots. He does this with the help of a mysterious lady, who is not part of the original self's program, and she only appears in his dreams. The replicated self is so relentless in his quest that it leaves a great impact on the original self. The original self soon finds himself joining the clone in this perilous search, for he too came to realize that he has a need to know his very own existence.
The concept of "Mirage In The Dawn" hopes that audiences will take heart to the originality of this piece. It is also his intention to inspire people to view and acquire a more wholesome existence. This dramatic experience is brought to you by a group of young talents who go by the name "at ree" (a tree). Like a tree, they draw talents and inspirations from all over.
