Z's page of tips, tweaks and drivers
Here you will find tweaks for some software that I use regularly and drivers for some older devices. All tweaks are currently in use on my system without adverse effects. This site is updated when necessary, which is not very often, unfortunately. It also seems that Rage Pro and Rage 128 support from ATI is done. No new drivers guys. But you figured that out already. Apologies for the confirmation.

It has been a while since I last updated the site, but I'm back with a bang. Windows 2000 driver 2k_5058 has been released. Finally a driver released by me that enables DXVA (Mobility cards only), and the usual Big Z tweaks. USWC is now disabled by default. This significanlty reduces memory usage, leading to better system performance. And the shocker...2k_5058 is a two part driver - The core driver files and the ATI control Panels are now packaged separately. This was something that I had wanted to do for some time now, but never got around to doing it. Anyways, ATI was kind enough to do it for me, so I just passed on the joy. Play around the ATI control panels and you will find some interesting settings, but hey...they look cool anyways. You will understand when you see it!! Note, the ATI control panels should be compatible with any ATI driver under 9x/Me/2k/XP, so give it a try on those older drivers. Enjoy!
Rage Pro/LT Pro/XL/XC and Mobility M/M1/P drivers for Windows 98/Me/2k/XP are available. Get them in the Rage Pro section.
