Swiss Post issued on May 9 self-adhesive "A" stamp and "St. Bernard" 70c definitive in both booklet and coil form in an attempt to replace the present 10-stamp booklet made from sheets by the more convenient self-adhesive version. The "A" stamp, first seen 1995, is valued at 90c, pays the postage for priority domestic mail (A letters). The "St. Bernard" definitive, one of the "Souvenirs" definitive set issued March 7, 2000, valued at 70c and pays for the non-priority domestic mail (B letters).
