2001.12.12     Taiwan Personal Greeting Stamps
In concordant with the latest world fashion of personized stamps, Taiwan Post revealed its personal greeting stamps on Dec. 12. The designs of these ten personal greeting stamps feature beautiful and colorful flowers. The greeting stamps have five themes: "Happy New Year," "Happy Birthday," "May Your Wishes Come True," "Merry Christmas," and "Congratulations." Each of these themes has two different designs. Each denominated stamp also comes with a place beside it that either consists of an unvalued stamp tab with a pattern that is a continuation of the one from the denominated stamp along with a Chinese greeting and its English translation or else a blank place to put one's own photo. These additional stamp tabs come free and one can post them alongside their denominated partner or just collect them. Senders can help bring people closer to each other by using these personalized stamps on special occasions to express congratulations, offer best wishes, or convey other feelings.
