On May 1, AusPost released three new panoramic designs in replace of
the previously issued stamps of equivalent denomination, in which Walker
Flat SA (50c) replaces Blue Mountains, NSW, Mt Roland TAS ($1.00)
replaces Murrumbidgee River, ACT, Cape Leveque WA ($1.50) replaces Port
Douglas, QLD. Besides the ordinary sheet of 50, the stamps are also available
in a self-adhesive booklet of ten stamps, six x 50c, four x $1.00, this
booklet is Australia Post's first mixed denomination booklet of self-adhesive
stamps, also the second booklet of self-adhesive stamps in the definitive
range of International stamps.
The definitive range of International stamps was introduced in 2000
with the distinctive panorama presentation and bold, blue International
Post branding.
