The first formal definitive
issue since the P.R.China's establishment on Oct.1 1949, bearing the image
of Tian'anmen Gate where Mr. Mao Zedong anounced the establishment of the
New China. The stamps are denominated in the old currency system, in which
100 yuan equal to 1 fen of the new currency system effected from 1955,
till now. |
