Day 43- In an effort to see how attached Dave really is to his computer, I decided to conduct an experiment today. It didn’t even start out that way. After taking a shower, I went back into the room, with nothing but my towel on. I walk back to the room, and Dave is sitting there, staring at the computer with a desire and longing usually reserved for when he is with the gnome. I was going to put my drawers on under the towel, but then I decided to see how much attention he really pays to the screen. So while facing away from him, I dropped the towel and bent over. Straight up full moon. I couldn’t have been more than 4 feet away from him. Dave didn’t even blink. And I stayed that way for a solid 5-8 seconds. Truly incredible.
Today it was raining pretty soundly the whole day. Pouring actually. I heard through the grapevine that Dave was walking around to all his classes today barefoot, carrying his shoes in his hand. When he found a mudpuddle, he would go stomp in it. As he was stomping in one particular mudpuddle, one of the guys from my floor was walking by, and he said whassup to Dave. Dave turned to him, with a wild look in his eye, said “I love when it rains,” and, no lie, fell face-first into the mud. Crazy? Indeed…
