Yes... that is Bill Cardell on the bike. About to whip me soundly. He must have been launching softly, since I stayed much too close through first gear.
I can not understand why my wife did not take a picture of the gal staging us!! (Daughter of the track operator, must have almost been legal. She was super nice and was very encouraging when my wife showed interest in running.)
