Chavande is the brother to Chief Durandal of the Cetanu (Death God) clan of Predators. A skilled hunter and tracker both he and his brother were the sole survivors of a Blooding ritual on an alien infested planet. Earning their status as 'Blooded' warriors the two hunted together for several years.
Chavande later supported his brother when he challenged the Cetanu clan chief and won. Being his brother's right hand in the clan Chavande has a great pull in the way his clan operates in this galaxy. He also captains his own clan battleship, a ship that dwarfs most battlecruisers, the Nan-de Than Guan (Kiss of Midnight).
When his brother's ship was attacked by RD fleet and his brother captured and sent to Shaiya's Citadel, Chavande commanded a fleet of fighters to go and rescue him. Meeting up with the Warriors along the way only made his search easier.
After being reunited with his brother at the Citadel the two of them took off with their clan, presumably to continue their hunting across the galaxy...
