What's it like?

A beautiful and tastefully decorated bar that is for those who really don't want to be blasted by the latest dance beats. Lots - and I mean LOTS - of leather sofas on two floors make Gaia primarily a sitting down bar and thank goodness there is one! Lots of polished wood and brushed steel.

Where is it?

Over the bridge on Sackville Street towards the traffic lights, and right opposite the park.

Rating?

Any ghetto needs a bar like Gaia. It is restful, pleasant, appreciably dim and calming. Perfect for sitting and chatting and excellent for chilling out in.
