What's it like?

It's on lots of multi-levels, with a forest and half of wood in the decoration alone! Gothic, religious, medieval, postwar...it's all here folks in this very popular bar. Try out the pulpit, cruise from the minstrels gantry or fill your waist line in the monk styled restaurant.

Where is it?

Just past the Rembrandt on Canal Street, overlooking the park and just before Bar 38.

Rating?

The door policy is a bit hit and miss at times, apparently refusing entry to gays and lesbians because they "don't look gay" whilst letting in a crowd of office girlies! Otherwise, a great atmosphere and some very tasty clientele. Watch out for fund raisers here, especially around World AIDS Day when this is one of the most outrageous nights out!
