足印 Footprints in the sand- Unknown
我在低潮時看到這文章, 那時令我對祂有點'心動'
某天晚上，我造了一個夢，夢見我與主漫步沙灘，又見到我的一生的每個片段在空中掠過。每個片段裡面，我都看見沙上有兩對足印，一對是我的，另一對是主的。看過最後的一個片段，我再回頭一望沙上的足印。怎料我發現有許多時候，沙上只有一對足印；並且是在我最低沈和難過的時候，每每就會這樣。
這真令我困惑，於是我質問主道：「主啊，你曾經應許過，當我立志跟從你，你便一生一世與我同行。可是我卻發現，在我最受困擾的時候，沙上只留下一對足印，我真不明白，為何在我最需要你的時候，你卻偏偏要離我而去。」
主就這樣回答我說：「我所寶貝的兒子，我愛你，我絕對不會在你受痛苦和被試練的時候離開你，當你看見沙上只有一對足印的時候，其實那時是我抱著你。」
One night a man had a
dream, he dread he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky
flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints
in the sand; one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord. When the last
scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the
sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one
set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and
saddest times in the life.
This really bothered him and he questioned
the Lord about it. "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you’d walk with me all
the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life
there is only one set of footprints. I don’t understand why when I needed you most you
would leave me."
The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child, I love you and I
would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see
only one set of footprints in the sand it was then that I carried you."
