The Planet Express crew must deliver the ceremonial giant scissors to the opening
of the new Democratic Order Of Planets HQ. Zapp Brannigan, believing them to be
plotting to assassinate the yarn people of Nylar 4, arrests them. From his ship,
he tries to cut the ribbon with a laser, destroying the HQ. He is almost let off
by the DOOP until Leela testifies and he and Kif are fired. The Professor lets
them work for Planet Express. Kif is insanely happy to be working for someone who
respects him, but he bores Leela, as he has nothing to talk about but Zapp. When
Leela forces the crew to drag some pillows to a hotel on a high gravity planet,
they mutiny and Zapp takes over. He plans to crash the ship into his new
arch-enemy: the neutral planet, taking the only spacesuit and escaping. When
Bender realize that it is a suicide mission, they make Leela captain again, who
manages to stop them crashing. Zapp and Kif eject from the ship. Wanting to stop
him from returning to Planet Express, Leela says that Zapp saved the day and he
and Kif are reinstated.
