The crew visit Amy's parents, Leo and Inez, on Mars, where they own an enourmous ranch.
At a barbeque, Amy introduces her boyfriend Kif to them, who is extremely nervous and is
intimidated by Amy's macho friends. Leo and Inez hate him, and he is very upset, but Amy
doesn't mind at all, liking his sensitivity. A sandstorm hits the ranch and everyone
retreats inside. When they come out, all of the Wong's thousands of Buggalo, except Amy's
pet Betsy, are gone. Kif vows to find the rustlers and get them back. He, Fry, Bender and
Leela go on a hike to the top of Olympus Mons, where Amy meets them. The find the herd of
Buggalo in the crater and Kif blows them out with dynamite. Another sandstorm occurs, and
some Native Martians come out flying Buggalo, which they say are rightly theirs. They
kidnap Amy and hold her ransom for land, as the Wongs traded them the entire planet for a
bead. Kif says he will get her back, but Leo and Inez send for Zapp Brannigan. In the
Martian's underground fortress, Zapp negotiates unsuccessfully. Kif manges to fly Betsy
and rescue Amy from a sandstorm, which impresses the Martians. They almost let him off,
but when he fails to smoke the peace pipe, they decide to execute him with the bead they
traded the planet for. The bead turns out to the universe's largest diamond, which the
Matians didn't realise. They are happy with the deal and set off in search of another
planet. Kif is still insecure, but Amy assures him that she loves him.
