Bender and Fry to take the the Planet Express ship and have some fun, but it is attached
to the building with the unbreakable diamond tether, so they drag it with them and
destroy it. They are fired, along with Leela, who left the keys in the ship. They still have
their old career chips, and go back to get their old jobs. Due to a mix-up, Fry becomes a
cryogenic councellor and Leela a delivery girl. Fry's girlfriend from the year 2000 comes
to the future, and they get back together. She is freaked out by all the weird stuff in
the future, and she convinces Fry to come with her to the year 4000. They wake up in a
post-apocalyptic wasteland, where they are taken prisoner by some children with guns.
Trying to overthrow their society, Fry is challenged to 'death rolling', a more dangerous
version of skateboarding. Fry wins, but the childrens' parents come to pick them up. Fry
breaks up with Michelle and wonders around the desert eventually finding civilisation.

three days before being dumped in a ditch outside Los Angeles. Fry asks for his job back
but is refused.
