Amy's partents have agreed to buy her a car, and the crew go car shopping. Amy buys a very expensive sports car, and invites Fry to go to Mercury with her. While there, the car runs out of gas and they have to wait for a while. They talk and realise they have a lot in common, and end up having sex while being towed back home. Bender, meanwhile, starts up a dating service, which is very popular. Fry and Amy's realtionship is going well until Amy talks about 'hanging out' and scares Fry, who thinks it's becoming too commited. He invites Zoidberg to a drive on one of Jupiter's moons and, just as Fry is about to break up with Amy, he crashes the car. Zoidberg grafts Fry's head onto Amy's body. Fry breaks up with her anyway. On valentines day, Leela uses Bender's dating service, and Amy says she has a date. A terrified Fry uses the dating service too. Fry's date is an old woman who steals his food and leaves, and Leela's is a fat bus driver. Amy and her date are about to go home together, when Leela butts in and asks about his job. He goes on for ages, killing the mood. Fry is thankful, and they are both glad they ended up spending Valentine's together. Zoidberg grafts Fry's head back on his own body, and he kicks Bender's ass by mistake, making it explode.

Zoidberg: (eating from the picnic basket) I haven't eaten since Tuesday! Bird eggs! Animal slices! Dry woven reeds! (he eats the whole basket) All gone!

Bender: That'll be 500 bucks. Zapp Brannigan okay?
Leela: No!
Bender: 600.

Leela: You're too late, Fry. I'm spending valentines day with a very special man. He's not Zapp Brannigan or anything!
Fry: Then I have no choice but to do something so pitiful and embarrasing that I'm ashamed to tell you about it.
Leela: Bender's in his office.
Fry: Thanks.
