Jurassic Bark
Fry's old Pizza Parlour is found fossilised and turned into a museum. He finds his
fossilised dog there. He protests for three days and gets it back, and the Professor says
he can clone it. Bender is jealous, thinking that he was Fry's only friend. Flashback to
the year 1999, where Fry meets a dog in the street and shares a pizza with it, calling
him Seymour. The dog follows Fry everywhere and helps in his pizza parlour. Back in the
future, the cloning machine is prepared and taken down to a crater with lava in it to
power it. Bender throws the fossilised dog into the pit, and Fry is devastated. New Years
Eve 1999, Fry tells Seymour to wait for him while he makes a delivery, and doesn't come
back. Seymour looks for him everywhere they used to go together. Fry's family visit
Applied Cryogenics with Seymour, who sees Fry and tries to tell his family, who don't
realise. Bender, realising how upset Fry is, goes into the lava to fetch the dog. The
machine says that the dog lived twelve more years before he died, and Fry decides not to
clone him, thinking that he would have forgetten him. In 2000, Seymour waits loyally for
Fry outside the pizza parlour for twelve years, eventually passing away.
