The Farnsworth Parabox

Leela-1 and Fry-1 kiss As Fry tries to persuade Leela to go out with him, the Professor is almost killed by an invention. It turns out to be a mysterious box. He wants the crew to destroy it, but everyone is very curious. Leela guards the box from everyone else, but the temptation to look inside is too great. She flips a coin to see if she should, and it's heads. She looks in the box and is transported to a parallel universe, where everything is a different colour, and meets the version of herself. Thinking the other universe must contain evil people, the parallel Farnsworth sends parallel Leela to get everyone. It turns out that the both Professors created the alternate universes simultaneously, and that the omly way they differ is that coin flips always come out the opposite way. Everyone is told to keep an eye on thier counterpart in case they are evil. They decide to call 'our' universe 'A' and the other '1'. The two Benders become great friends, while the two Zoidbergs complain about how everyone treats them and conspire to steal Professor-1's box. Fry-1 and Leela-1 are married, as Leela once decided whether or not to date Fry with a coin toss. Fry is upset that Leela has been lying to him for so long. Having decided that no-one is evil, the crews get along well. Hermes-1 arrives and reveals that he was about to destroy the box. This means that Hermes-A is going to destroy the whole universe by throwing the box into the sun. The Zoidbergs have taken the other box, so there's no way of getting home. The Professors make thousands more universes in the hope of getting the right one. The Zoidbergs arrive with the box and mistakenly fall into boxes, scattering other boxes everywhere. The others grab lengths of wire and chase the Zoidbergs through many universes, eventually catching them in a hippy universe where the Professor has lost all the other boxes. They go back into universe-A and stop Hermes from destroying the box. The parallel crew go back home. Leela finally agrees to go on a date with Fry, ignoring the coin toss. The Professor's switch boxes, so our universe is kept inside a box within it. Fry sits on the box, stretching out the universe, to watch TV.

Quotes:

Fry: I know you've rejected me a lot before, but frankly I wasn't sure we were right for each othe either! (shouting) But now I am! So, how about a date tonight?
Leela: (shouting) Sorry, I think I, uh, I think I left my toaster on.
Farnsworth (offscreen): Budda, Zeus, God, one of you guys, do something!
Fry: Come on Leela, what's the real reason you won't go out with me?
Farnsworth (offscreen): Help, Satan, you owe me!
Leela: (shouting) Look, um, I'm embarrassed to admit this, but you've forced me to. I can't go out tonight because...
(The noise suddenly stops)
Leela: (shouting) I have sweaty boot rash!

Farnsworth-1: Leela? Oh, there's a woman for you. Always dying her hair instead of not looking in a box.

Fry: It's like that drug trip in that movie I saw when I was on that drug trip.

Leela-1: We're exactly the same. I know all her moves. Therefore, I've got the upper hand.
(The two Leelas leap up and crash into each other)
Farnsworth-1: Now, now. Perfectly symmetrical violence never solved anything.

Leela-1: One night, Fry asked me out, and the only excuse I could think of involved ghosts. I knew he wouldn't buy it, so I did what I always do in those situations -
Leela-A: Oh, Lord.
Leela-1: I flipped a coin.
Fry-A: You mean you flipped a coin too, and it was tails? So that's why you said you had to meet that ghost.

Zoidberg-1: And those co-workers. Always looking down on us Zoidbergs. What are they, from Nob Hill?
Zoidberg-A: They're all like 'Stop spraying me with ink Zoidberg, put on pants Zoidberg, don't touch our fancy box Zoidberg'.

Bender-1: Bite my glorious golden ass!
