Goal: Get to know you
Materials: Large blanket
Activity: After the girls have gotten a chance to introduce themselves initially, split the group up into two sections and place them on either side of the blanket. Lift the blanket up between them to form a wall so the groups can't see eachother. Now, each group picks one person to stand in front of the blanket on their side...after both teams are ready, the blanket gets dropped. The girl who says the other's name first wins and the one who lost goes over to the opposing team. The game ends when all girls are on one team. |
