Cat And Mouse

Goal: fun Materials: none Activity: The girls stand in a circle and act as the house.  There is a girl who is it (cat) and a girl who is being chased (mouse).  The girls in the circle stand with their hands at their side.  The cat begins on the outside of the circle and the mouse begins on the inside of the circle.  Then, the game begins with the cat chasing the mouse to tag it.  Here is where there are multiple ways to play this game.  We will give you all the ones we know. 1. The mouse and cat can run through the holes in the house (spaces between the girls).  When the mouse runs through them, the girls hold hands to create a "new" type of hole.  The mouse, only can run through these new holes...but the cat cannot. 2. The mouse and cat can run through the spaces, but every time the mouse runs through them the girls do the opposite of what they are doing (if their hands are held, they release them...if they are at their sides, they hold hands.)  The mouse, only can run through held hands.
