Goal: To figure it out
Materials: Two stick-like objects
Activity: Have all the girls sit in a circle. One person begins the game by holding the sticks uncrossed and saying "I receive these sticks uncrossed and pass them______ [either crossed or uncrossed depending]. The goal is for the girls to figure out whether they should pass the sticks crossed or uncrossed. One person needs to know the trick in order to tell the girls if they are correct or not. Continue passing the sticks until everyone figures it out or they get REALLY frustrated!!!
The Trick: To determine whether you pass the stics crossed or uncrossed...look at the legs. If the legs of the person passing are crossed, they pass the sticks crossed...if they are uncrossed, pass the sticks uncrossed. You'll get LOTS of groans when you explain this one! :) |
